There are 8 sites in Somerset County:

We take ours to Richland at/near Richland HS/UPJ/Penn Highlands; they take paper/cardboard, cans, glass, and plastics marked 1 and 2:,-78.8362902   Right next to Campus Police.

Recycling Options for Indian Lake borough

Can we re-look at recycling options here at Indian Lake.
Statewide recycling in Pennsylvania began in 1988 with the Municipal Waste Planning Recycling and Waste Reduction Act (Act 101) that requires larger municipalities to recycle.  More than 11.6 million residents at least 94 percent of the state's population have access to recycling. About 79 percent have convenient access to recycling through about 1,050 curb-side pickup programs. Since Pennsylvania is largely rural, 870 drop-off programs extend recycling to the greatest number of communities.

With the loss of the Central City pickup area, it would be useful if the Borough could provide a list of recycling pick up areas or re-address an option to recycle at Indian Lake.

Thank you for your attention to this important environmental issue
