 About User Registration ... Minimize

 A Note about Registration...

Users DO NOT need to Register to explore the site, read about the candidates, or to explore links, etc.  Users DO need to register to participate in any of the Discussion Forums, see the debate on issues, and to take or see any of the Surveys that may be added.  To Register click on the word Register at the upper right, (next to Login).  This is only required one time.

You will be asked for a UserName (ID), which you will need to remember for subsequent Logins.  We suggest something easily remembered, like your personal E-Mail ID (but without the @comcast.net or @aol.com part...)  Remember your chosen ID as it cannot be readily retrieved.  [If you are registered on the Planning Commission web site with the same UserName (ID) your paswords will be synchronized between the 2 sites automatically as they are on the same server]

You will also be asked for a Password.  It, too, should be easily remembered.  You may use your personal e-mail password, since the Password you enter is not stored on the system in readable form.   A secure, system-generated confirmation message is forwarded to your e-mail address, along with your password, once you register.  Your password may be retrieved by you at any time by clicking on the "Forgot Password?" link on the Login page, but you must know your ID.  The Password is sent only to you, and only to the e-mail address you entered during registration.

After registering once you may Login to the site thereafter using your UserID and Password by clicking on the word Login at the top of the page on the right.

[If you are registered on the Planning Commission web site (www.indianlake.info) with the same ID, your passwords will remain synchronized and you should be able to move between the 2 sites without having to log in again]
